• I’ve sourced the absolute best materials for everything. There is no plastic anywhere, ever.

Cases are forged from 316L stainless steel. There are debates, but this is the king of case steels.

Bezel and lugs are forged from solid copper, silver, or gold.

    Gaskets are natural rubber.

    Crystal is sapphire.

Straps are handcrafted from vegetable tanned leather in central New York.

  • I believe that constraints breed creativity and intelligence. Forging watch cases without industrial machining raises a number of unique challenges.

The resulting watch is totally different from anything else I’ve seen. I believe it captures the spirit of craftsmanship and traditional aesthetics. It is robust, with a solid back plate and fixed lugs.

  • I do not utilize a mill or lathe in the construction of my watches. That isn’t true for any other watch, and it’s what necessitates their unique appearance.

My cases are forged with a combination of open-die hand forging and hand hammering. The process requires a system of progressive dies. The lugs and bezel are hand hammered.

All holes are drilled and tapped by hand.

Everything is polished and finished by hand.

  • My watches are built around the legendary Swiss-made ETA 2892A2 automatic movement. It is self winding, with a power reserve of 42 hours. In short, it is the finest movement available to me (and almost everyone else).

There is constant argument about the relative quality of movements, and there are proprietary options which boast marginal superiority in accuracy. The 2892A2, however, is readily available to me (with no legal issues), is renowned across the world as the best non-proprietary movement, and has been rigorously tested for decades.

  • Every watch is shipped in a handmade cherry wood box with wood shavings for protection. The box will be wrapped in paper for shipping.
